Peter Ngom

Hello,

I am a versatile artist with a multitude of influences. My music reflects various experiences of my African roots to France, Germany and North America. Places where I could offer shows with different groups and styles: Afro Pop, Rock, Jazz, French chanson, blues, gospel, etc. With my voice and my electro-acoustic guitar, I sing love, question our society in an attitude sometimes philosophical, and expresses the memories of my life in my native Cameroon and various places in Europe and North America where I
lived. The mix of influences and the ability to mix the rhythms of Cameroon in mind pop, rock and jazz, to get a unique cocktail is a facet that I sold in my shows. This mixture is often enhanced by the addition of musicians and additional instruments such as drums, bass, piano, cello, solo guitar and trumpet. This variety is also present in the different languages I use in my songs, including African languages, French and English.
My show is finally multi-rhythmic, it's the rhythm of a little everywhere, with episodes very rhymes supported by the sounds and cadences of tradition africans supposed to heal the soul or to de-stress the spectator; A pop rhythmic or our urbanity and finally rhythms and sounds more soft embellished by a jazz influence and French song, which makes conversation with the viewer.
