The musical universe of Cristian de la Luna is like a big house with open doors. He says to us: "Mi casa es en todas partes", "Home is where we are together". His music is heat and light. His words are party invitations and words of friendship. His rhythms are those of the heart, the pleasure of life, his voice sounds the urgency of living in the present moment. Cristian de la Luna was born in Colombia. He grew up in the noisy bustle of "Cumbia", "Porro" and "San Juanero". He played in a set of traditional Colombian music: a "Papayera", where he found the unalterable passion of his life: music. Arriving in Quebec, he began writing songs inspired sometimes by the nostalgia of his hard exile from Colombia and sometimes by the excitement of becoming a Canadian of the "new wave".
